I am passionate about dogs and committed to ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. Having been working with, and learning dog communication and behaviour for years, I am dedicated to making your pet feel safe, happy, and healthy while in my care. I started dog walking back in 2018 and have gained a huge amount of experience in that time*. Whilst I have spent a lot of my time learning about dogs online and through various courses, I find that my dogs are also the best teachers and help the theory come alive. My dog Reuben was my first real educator. He was such an intelligent puppy but so excited at the world that he would lose his head at every slight thing. His teenage phase was particularly challenging. I quickly worked out that he needed to learn to be calm before I could expect him to listen, learn and apply it to the real world. There started my learning about the importance of arousal and how to manage it, in order to help dogs be their best selves.  The skills and knowledge I gained then have stood me in good stead when working with all client dogs. Whether it is is excitement or anxiety, helping them to manage their arousal is a key part of my approach.  I recently moved and I am starting up again in a whole new area, but I am fully insured and first aid trained (updated June 2025).
